Tony Roman Announces BLACK & LIGHT Volumes VII and VIII

I’m pleased to announce two new additions to my BLACK & LIGHT photography book series: Volume VII — Travel and Volume VIII — Objects and Abstracts. Both are now available.

Volume VII — Travel

Across 184 pages, Travel brings together photographs and personal memories from decades of exploring cities and countryside. From Washington, DC, and San Francisco to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Reykjavík, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Rome, the book follows the light, atmosphere, and everyday moments that stayed with me.

It is a personal photographic journey through places that have shaped my way of seeing.

Volume VIII — Objects and Abstracts

This 92-page volume turns toward the extraordinary possibilities of familiar subjects. Everyday objects, still lifes, sculpture, interiors, botanicals, and abstract forms become studies in light, shadow, texture, and geometry.

Together, these two volumes reflect the range of my continuing work in black and white—from the wider world encountered through travel to details discovered close at hand.

The BLACK & LIGHT collection now includes ten books: the Original Standard Edition, Special Edition, and Volumes I–VIII.
